All is well
All is well.
That is my life philosophy in a nutshell.
That is what I constantly remind myself of if I feel discouraged and upset and nothing seems to go my way. That is what I constantly remind my loved ones of too.
Things do not make us happy or unhappy – our thoughts about them do. Nothing is simply good or bad, there are endless aspects to everything, and the aspect we decide to pay attention to is what we live.
That is what defines how we feel, and how good or bad we consider our life to be.
All is well is the best piece of advice I have ever been given. And isn’t it so, that we are most eagerly after good advice when we feel that all is not well? When we think that something should be different than it is.
Fighting against the conditions or blaming the world for being unfair will not bring us the relief we are looking for. Whether we think something is okay or something is not okay, at this moment, it is what it is.
That is why for me, accepting life as it is, and, at the same time, believing in a positive change, is the most inspiring way to live.
When you own that mindset, that is what your life is: noticing unwanted things, making peace with them and seeing them improve.
It is not always easy. It is not always immediate. But it is rewarding.
“Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe.”
All is well.
Everything is working out for your best.
Take a moment,
close your eyes and,
feel that.
